Dalyan is situated in the south east of Turkey in the region of Mugla. The town stands on the banks of the river Dalyan and is overlooked by the lycian tombs cut into the rock of the mountainside and lit up at night.
The appeal of the area is its diversity. Not only does the town of Dalyan boast an award winning beach only a short boat or dolmus ride away, it also offers the charm of the river, and the serenity of the lake within a conversation area which supports an abundance of nature and wildlifeThe towns and local markets offer visitors a great choice in terms of restaurants, nightlife and shopping and Kaunos, the tombs and other historical sites nearby combine to offer a cultural context to the holiday. Finally if its sporting activities you are looking for there are opportunities for diving, snorkelling, fishing, rafting, paragliding and trekking to name a few. In this area there is simply something for everyone.
We are happy to help with organisation of excursions but you’ll also find numerous tour companies in the village that can advise you on trips to the surrounding area - and further afield if you wish.
One week not enough! Excellent accomodation. Nothing too much trouble. The place to stay in Dalyan.
